to be entitled to a quote from coverage.ie,
you must be able to answer yes to all of the following:
Proposer and Named
Drivers:
- Have not been refused insurance
or renewal of insurance or had any special terms or conditions imposed
by any insurer.
- Legal residents and working
in Ireland for the past three years.
- Have not been disqualified
from driving and have not been involved in any accident / loss or have
had any claims made against them in the last five years (excluding windscreen
breakage claims, unless you claimed of a Quinn Direct motor policy for
windscreen breakage which affected your No Claims Bonus).
- Have not been convicted
of any offences of any nature and have no convictions pending.
- Have no notable medical
conditions that would inhibit driving or ability to drive.
- Have no penalty points.
Car:
- Is not left hand drive,
converted, adapted or modified in any way.
- It does not have non-standard
audio/visual equipment or a non-standard car phone.
- Car is registered in the
Republic of Ireland bearing a standard Irish (IRL) registration and
not imported.
- The car is registered in
your name only.
- The car is a conventional
motor car registered and taxed as a private vehicle.
- If required, holds a current
and valid National Car Test (NCT).
- Is normally kept at its
home address.
- You are confirming that
the car is being used for social, domestic and pleasure purposes and
in connection with travelling to and from your work, excluding its use
of the soliciting for commercial orders and/or carriage of commercial
goods or for hire and reward (taxi/hackney use).
